I’m Mattia Borgato and, although I’m best known as a wedding photographer, my focus on people has naturally led me to specialise in portrait photography as well. In Mira Taglio, at my studio in the province of Venice, I create professional portraits designed for those who want authentic, well-crafted images: portrait photos, corporate portraits, business images, and pictures for LinkedIn or your CV. My approach comes from the same sensitivity I bring to wedding reportage: I love capturing spontaneity and emotion, working discreetly and without forced poses. I aim to put even people who are not used to being in front of the camera at ease, turning the session into a relaxed conversation where everyone can show themselves as they are. My experience in picking up small gestures and natural glances allows me to create portraits that tell a personality, not just show an image. How I work: we start with an initial consultation to understand the portrait’s objective (professional profile, corporate image, personal portfolio). We can shoot in the studio in Mira Taglio, where I control light and background for an elegant, clean result, or choose an external location that reflects your role and personality. During the session I favour simple, direct poses, careful composition and the use of the environment to obtain distinctive and meaningful framing. Post-production is handled with care: natural retouching, tone balance and optimisation for the intended use (web, print or professional profiles).
