I’m Giacomo Palma and, at Foto Palma Studio in Marina di Carrara, I passionately focus on professional portrait photography. My aim is to turn every session into a thoughtful, genuine experience that reflects the identity and personality of the person in front of the camera. I mainly work in-studio, in our equipped shooting space with backdrops, seating and curated props gathered to create elegant, never predictable portraits. Why choose me as your portrait photographer? I combine technique and attentive listening: careful lighting, knowledge of posing and experience in set management come together with a conversational approach that helps put even first-time subjects at ease. I love to capture natural, expressive and professional images, designed both for personal use and corporate needs. I offer personal portraits and corporate portrait photography: business headshots, LinkedIn photos and images for CVs. Although portraiture is my primary field, I handle business requirements with sensitivity, producing images that communicate authority, approachability and professionalism while retaining a human touch. How do I work? Before the shoot we discuss objectives, intended uses and the atmosphere you want: do you prefer a formal image or something more relaxed and creative? In the studio I prepare lights and the set, guide you with simple, clear directions during the shoot and we select the best images together. I deliver high-resolution photos ready for print or digital use, and if you wish I can arrange canvas prints or other quality photo products to showcase your portraits over time. My story springs from a love of photography and from experience gained across the Massa-Carrara area: here, in my studio in Marina di Carrara, I offer a welcoming environment and professional care.
