I’m Paolo Bibi and portrait photography is at the heart of what I do. In Follonica, in my renovated historic studio, I create portraits that do more than just look good: they tell a story, reveal a personality and capture an emotion. My approach is direct and intimate: I prefer essential images where the subject is the protagonist, following my motto “less is better.” I shoot what I feel, searching for authenticity rather than artificial posing. I work with private clients who want a personal portrait and with professionals looking for a business portrait for LinkedIn profiles, CVs or corporate materials. For personal portraits I aim to build a relaxed, conversational atmosphere: an initial meeting, the choice of sober lights and backdrops, and the time needed to find your natural presence in front of the camera. For business portraits I adopt a spontaneous yet professional style: images consistent with your communication that convey trust and authority without forcing it. In my studio in Follonica I use professional lighting and minimal sets that enhance the face and expressiveness. If you prefer, I also work on location along the beautiful Tuscan coast, using natural light for more informal and contemporary portraits. During the session I make sure you feel comfortable: we talk, I listen to your needs and I guide you gently to achieve sincere and meaningful shots. I personally handle post‑production to ensure a consistent and polished result, preserving naturalness and character. If desired, I can provide black-and-white versions, light retouching and files optimized for digital use.
